Acquisition of Catholyte volumetery Karl Fischer solution know-how used in Karl Fischer instrument in order to determine the existing water in liquids, gases and solids

Further to the previous news on production of Anolyte Karl Fischer solution, perseverance of hardworking laboratory experts in Arak centre of NPC-RT Company has yielded the acquisition of Catholyte Volumetery Karl Fischer solution know-how which is used in Karl Fischer instrument in order to determine the existing water in liquids, gases and solids. At present the aforementioned solution is procured from abroad and known as Hydranal- Coulomate C which is relatively expensive and supplied by Merck company in Germany. All formulation steps have been undertaken in Arak centre and good quality even to some extent superior to that of the foreign counterparts has been proved by laboratory tests.
Experts announced that this product is superior to its foreign counterparts supplied by Merck and Fluka companies due to lower price and better quality and can be readily replaced with the imported ones. This leads to saving and self sufficiency.
Further to be added that no pyridine was used in production of the aforementioned solution .At the moment NPC-RT company is capable of meeting the requirements of all petrochemical complexes as well as research centers and universities; lower cost price is scheduled for close future.
